ABA Therapy Resources is operated by The ABA Collective, LLC ("we," "us," "our").

1. What We Collect

  • Account info: email, password (encrypted), profile details you provide
  • Purchase history and downloaded files
  • Uploaded content, if you sell
  • Basic usage data (pages visited, actions taken on the Platform)

We do not collect or store full credit card or bank account numbers. All payment processing runs through Stripe, which handles that data directly under its own privacy and security practices.

2. How We Use It

  • To operate the marketplace: process orders, deliver downloads, run payouts
  • To communicate with you about your account, orders, or platform updates
  • To review listings for the moderation queue
  • To improve the Platform

3. What Sellers See About Buyers

Sellers do not get your email or contact info just because you bought something. The one exception: if you download a free item and check the opt-in box, your email is shared with that specific seller so they can email you directly, using their own email tool, not ours. You can decline that checkbox and still download for free.

4. Payment Data

Stripe handles all payment processing and connected-account payouts. We never see or store your full card number or bank account details.

5. Cookies and Analytics

We use basic cookies and analytics to understand how the Platform is used, and to keep you signed in between visits. We don't sell this data to third parties.

6. Data Retention

We keep account and order data as long as your account is active, or as needed for legal, tax, or dispute-resolution purposes after that.

7. Your Choices

  • You can request account deletion by contacting us.
  • You can unsubscribe from any seller's marketing list directly through their own emails, separate from your Platform account.

8. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical safeguards (encrypted connections, row-level access controls, private file storage) to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute protection.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be noted with a new "Last updated" date.
